Founded in 1908, the Sydney Roosters, originally known as the Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club, are one of the oldest and most successful clubs in Australian rugby league. They have participated in every season since the competition's inception, making them the only club to do so. Over the years, the Roosters have undergone several name changes, adopting the "Sydney City Roosters" in 1995 and later the "Sydney Roosters" in 2000 to appeal to a broader fan base. The club has a rich history of success, with 15 Premiership titles to their name, and has been home to numerous rugby league legends.

The Roosters' home ground is the Sydney Football Stadium, located at Moore Park, Sydney, New South Wales.

The Sydney Football Stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 42,500 spectators.
