2026 New Zealand Warriors Kotahitanga Players Shorts
Kotahitanga is A Māori concept meaning oneness, unity and togetherness. It emphasises collective action, solidarity, and shared purpose to achieve common goals.
The design is an updated interpretation of the jersey first worn by the Warriors in 2001 upon changing their name from ‘Auckland’ to ‘New Zealand’ Warriors. It represents the welcoming nature of the Club, highlighting that the Warriors club is for all of New Zealand and not just Auckland.
Colours for this Kotahitanga range have been interpretated to include more red and black than the original. This theme resulting in a pallet which honours not only the Warriors history but also that of Canterbury and Christchurch.
