The Brisbane Broncos were established in April 1987 and entered the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition in 1988.

Their most recent Premiership victory was in 2006, where they defeated the Melbourne Storm 15–8.
Founded in 1987, the Brisbane Broncos entered the NSWRL competition in 1988 as the first Queensland-based team. They quickly became a dominant force, winning their first Premiership in 1992 and securing back-to-back titles in 1993. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, under the coaching of Wayne Bennett, the Broncos continued their success, adding multiple Premierships to their record. The club has a rich history of developing talented players and has maintained a strong fan base, making them one of the most successful and popular teams in Australian rugby league.
The Broncos' home ground is Suncorp Stadium, located in Milton, Brisbane, Queensland.
Suncorp Stadium has a seating capacity of over 52,000 spectators.
