The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles were established in 1946 and entered the New South Wales Rugby Football League (NSWRL) competition in 1947.
The Sea Eagles have secured Premierships in the following years:

Their most recent Premiership victory was in 2011, where they defeated the New Zealand Warriors 24–10.
The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles were granted entry into the NSWRL competition on November 4, 1946, and played their inaugural match on April 12, 1947, against the Western Suburbs Magpies at Brookvale Oval. Over the decades, the Sea Eagles have established themselves as one of the most successful clubs in Australian rugby league, known for their strong performances and fierce rivalries. In 1999, they entered a joint venture with the North Sydney Bears to form the Northern Eagles, but this partnership dissolved in 2002, leading to Manly's return as a standalone entity in 2003. The club has a rich history of success, with eight Premiership titles to their name.
The Sea Eagles' home ground is 4 Pines Park, located on Pittwater Road in Brookvale, New South Wales.
4 Pines Park has a seating capacity of approximately 23,000 spectators.

The team's mascot, the Sea Eagle, reflects the club's coastal origins and symbolises strength and majesty. The maroon and white colours were adopted from the local Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club, representing the club's connection to the Northern Beaches community.
